Mission Focus
Ivy Blair was commissioned on Sunday 22nd February at her church, Brightons Parish Church, in Polmont, to the role of Mission Development Co-ordinator for Causeway Prospects in Scotland.
Tony Phelps-Jones explained Ivy’s role in the context of Causeway’s mission, and Ivy spoke of her commitment to supporting churches all over Scotland to reach out to people with learning disabilities. Ivy recently started a Causeway Prospects group at Brightons Parish Church, the Friends of Jesus, who led the congregation in song. Church members responded very warmly in support of Ivy in her new role.
