Made in His Image - Prospects Annual Conference - a wonderful time!
God made everybody to love, care and create.
That was the core message of Made in His Image, a Day Conference about providing Christian support and spiritual development for people with learning disabilities.
Why?
Disabled people are often marginalized
or excluded in our society and, sadly, our Churches. For the 1.5
million people in the UK with a learning disability this means that
they are often denied the opportunity to develop faith and be part of
the community.
Many people responded and came, enjoying a day of learning about each other, about God's relationship with all of us including people with learning disabilities, and worship together. Photos and downloads of all sessions will be online very shortly!

Keynote Speaker: The Rt. Hon Stephen Timms, MP
The Rt. Hon Stephen Timms is the Member of Parliament for East Ham. Since June 2007, Stephen has been the first ever Labour Party Vice Chair for Faith Groups. As a Christian, Stephen is passionate about faith in the public arena and will include in his keynote address the role that faith has in society.
