Prospects - Working with Adults with Learning Disabilities

Pray for us!

SH 2003 Skegness prayer 2Thank you for joining us in prayer.

Why pray for us?

There has never been a greater demand for the services Prospects provided. There is a particular strain on the resources of Causeway and International Prospects as they seek to respond to the growing requests for help and guidance in reaching out to people with learning disabilities. The main challenge here is funding the necessary resources to meet the demands and need. Causeway and International Prospects rely entirely on gift income from the Christian community in the UK for all their financial needs.

This is God’s work, with God’s resources, in God’s time.   ‘Days of Prayer’ will be held across our services and Causeway groups to ask our loving Heavenly Father for the necessary increase in our gift income.

We invite you to join us in is time of prayer, and to partner with us in seeing His work grow and develop. We would invite you to encourage your Church to join in prayer all over the UK, for the resources needed to reach out to people with learning disabilities.

Resources to help you pray

Please email Susanne for the Prayer Diary which is sent out every other month – susannek@prospects.org.uk (your choice via Email or post), and click here for paragraphs you can use in Church notice sheets and Church prayers. You don’t have to use these, but you may find them helpful.

Prospects, and in particular Causeway Prospects and International Prospects has been founded and has grown because of the partnership of hundreds of supporters across the UK. This partnership has taken the form for prayer and the giving of time through volunteering and also financial giving. Thanks to these partnerships thousands of people have been enabled to live a fuller life and access the Gospel, the good news, of Jesus. As a partner with Prospects you are participating in life transforming work and ministry and God will bless you as He blesses His outreach to the marginalised and excluded, which so often includes those with learning disabilities.
