Annual Conference 2009: Made in His Image
God made everybody to love, care and create.
A Day Conference about providing Christian support and spiritual development for people with learning disabilities.
Please join us on 10 October 2009 - 10.00am to 4.15pm
Why?
Disabled people are often marginalized or excluded in our society and, sadly, our Churches. For the 1.5 million people in the UK with a learning disability this means that they are often denied the opportunity to develop faith and be part of the community.
Who?
This conference is for Church and ministry leaders, parents, carers, professionals, and for people with learning disabilities themselves.
What?
Offering information and experience on Christian support for people with learning
disabilities and equipping the Church to offer effective mission and ministry.
Where?
Friends House,
173 - 177 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ
People with learning disabilities are often denied the opportunity to develop their faith and make their voices heard in society. Join us as we listen to people with learning disabilities as they share their experiences, challenges and faith.
