Programme for the weekend
The theme for the fifth Causeway Prospects Scotland holiday weekend is ‘Jesus the Storyteller’. During the weekend there will be meetings to hear about some of the stories Jesus told and what they tell us about who God is, about His love and about how we can follow Jesus. The theme will be explored in four Celebration meetings.
There will be workshops, music, celebrations and time to enjoy the extensive grounds around Gartmore House and just to relax with friends.
The weekend will start on Friday with arrival and registration from 5.00pm, then the evening meal at 7.00pm.
The weekend will finish after lunch on Sunday at about 2.00pm. You can come for the Saturday, as a day visitor, arriving by 10.00am.
Venue
Gartmore House is an impressive mansion set in a country estate in the Trossachs. It is in the village of Gartmore, near the town of Aberfoyle, west of Stirling. Gartmore House has 3 large meeting rooms, lounge, dining room and has a lift to first and second floors and to the dining room on the lower floor.
There is accommodation for over 80 people in 2, 3 and 4 bedded rooms, with en suite. There are 30 places in the Annexe which is a single storey building about 50 yards from the Main House and up a slight slope. The renovated Annexe has rooms for 4 – 6 people with en suite facilities in each room.
- There are no single rooms.
- Most, but not all, rooms in the main House are en suite.
- There is a lift to first and second floor in main House.

- Main House - £140
Deposit of £40 by 31 March and full payment by 1 May. - Annexe - £100

- Lunch and dinner - £40
One full payment of £40 by 1 May. - Lunch, no dinner - £25
One full payment of £25 by 1 May. - Day visitor – Children aged ten and under - £12
One full payment of £12 by 1 May.
Applications and deposits
- Please make cheques payable to ‘Causeway Prospects Scotland’.
- Complete the booking form with your deposit of £40.
- Please give your deposit and the full balance to your local Causeway Prospects leader.
- It is important that you pay the deposit by 31 March and full payment by 1 May.
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- If full payment is not made by 1 May, you may forfeit your place.
