A Holiday Weekend for People with Learning Disabilities
The Place
Cefn Lea Park is set in beautiful scenery 5 miles south of Newtown in central Wales. Chalets and static caravans provide accommodation; the conference centre facilities include meeting rooms, gymnasium, pool table and crazy golf.
The Programme
We plan to meet up at Cefn Lea in time for a meal about 7.00pm on 11th June, leaving again on on 13th June around 4pm.
There will be a series of meetings with teaching on a spiritual theme. In between, plenty of time to enjoy the centre facilities, go out exploring locally, take part in the table tennis competition, the treasure hunt, play or watch a game of football or just laze around making the most of the peace and quiet with friends.
Accommodation Costs
Accommodation charges include the cost of good full board catering. Adult rate for the weekend: £90 for chalet, £95 chalet + en-suite or caravan.

Day visitors pay £6 plus the cost of any meals. (Speak to Janneke Johnson for details)
Reductions for children:
- Children up to 2 years go free
- Children aged 3-7 pay 25%
- Children aged 8-10 pay 50%
- Children aged 11-13 pay 75%

Extra Costs
The only additional cost will be your travel to Cefn Lea and anything you wish to buy from the Centre shop, or the Causeway Prospects stand. (Bibles and Daily Notes, teaching and worship materials and a range of garments).
The Accommodation
There are chalets which take between 9 and 15 people, and static caravans sleeping 4 to 6 people. While suitable for most people, the accommodation is far from ideal for wheelchair users. The static caravans are completely inaccessible. The chalets are accessible only if the wheelchair user can walk with assistance. Note you will need to bring your own bed linen.

Bookings and payments
A deposit of £15 per adult is due on booking, with the balance payable by 30 April '10. Cheques should be made payable to Prospects.
Deposits are not refundable. Refunds will not be possible for holidays cancelled without prior notice.
