The Causeway Prospects team runs this interactive course, preparing those interested in ministering to people with learning disabilities for worship, teaching, and running Causeway Groups.

- The use of language
A summary of the teaching on the use of language in teaching and worship, followed by practical work in groups
- Worship leading
A look at some songs which can aid involvement and continuity in Causeway Prospects meetings
- Makaton vocabulary
Introduction to some signs and symbols

Involvement and meeting needs
A summary of the teaching on practical ways to involve people more fully in every aspect of a Causeway Prospects Group meeting, followed by group discussions of case studies

- Putting a Meeting Together
An exercise to plan out a meeting for a Causeway Prospects Group based on a given theme
- Leading a meeting
Each group will be asked to present part of a Causeway Prospects meeting, based on the meeting plan which they have just put together. This session includes time for both preparation and presentation
