Prospects is a Best Company
Prospects has been judged to be an ‘Outstanding’ organisation to work for by the annual ‘Best Companies To Work For’ survey. Click here to see our Directory entry.
Every year Best Companies produce a book containing the 500 best companies to work for in the UK, drawn from many hundreds of entrants. These are subdivided into 3,2 and 1 star categories and Prospects was given 2 stars, which means in effect, it is considered one of the top 200 organisations to work for in the UK. In parallel the Sunday Times produce an annual Top 100 Companies To Work For in three size categories and Prospects were entered for this list as well. We are extremely gratified that out of hundreds of companies considered we have made the top 100 in the medium size category.
As a charity, Prospects was given free entry into the competition, which normally costs thousands of pounds. Around 240 Prospects staff completed a survey that covered all areas of their experience of working with Prospects and from their responses Prospects was graded as an employer.
The result is a great witness to the blessings God has bestowed on Prospects through the commitment and dedication of its ever growing workforce and a part vindication of our Christian ethos. Social care is a low wage sector and in addition Prospects staff work difficult and unsocial hours. And yet they are happy to say that Prospects is a good place to work. This satisfaction feeds into the service we can offer to the people we support and the transformational impact we can make in people’s lives.
