Share conference
People who are supported by Prospects from across the UK assembled in Wills Hall, Bristol for our annual Share Conference. Our theme was "Journeys".
Pete Winmill and Tony Phelps-Jones provided excellent worship and teaching on the 'Emmanus road'. Tony had written a song on the theme. A group from the South West gave us a wonderful presentation about Somerset and the South West, complete with a taste of apple juice and local cheeses to whet our appetites!
Tuesday saw us on a steam train ride from Bishops Lyddeard to Minehead. We used our digital cameras to take photographs which were downloaded and made into souvenirs of the trip on the Wednesday. We also enjoyed making 'pigs in the mud' in sugarcraft and tablemats to celebrate God's goodness.
An interesting question time was had with some of the directors and four of the trustees on the Wednesday with many thought provoking discussions.
Everyone throughly enjoyed the conference and we are grateful to the services in the South West for organising it.
