A mission to people with learning disabilities
We think of Prospects as a mission to people with learning disabilities. There are over 1.5 million people with learning disabilities in the UK; they are in every parish and every community, and they need to know that Jesus loves them. Prospects provides advice, training and resource materials to equip churches for effective ministry and outreach among people dearly loved by God and often marginalised by society.
Prospects runs a special series of celebrations at a number of major Christian festivals and organises training and ministry events all over the UK. Here's a video of our celebrations at Spring Harvest 2011.
With 30 years of experience and a developing range of resource materials Prospects is well placed to support churches as they meet the needs and challenges presented.
