Prospects in Scotland

The work in Scotland really began to flourish in the late 1990s with the formation of the Scottish Development Team and the first Prospects group in Carluke.

Scottish Development Team

The Scottish Development team meet 3 or 4 times a year to decide on the direction of the work in Scotland. There are around 10 people on the Scottish Development Team including some people with learning disabilities.

Mission Development Coordinator for Scotland

Ivy has been working with Prospects since January 2008 and works 24 hours a week. She travels all over Scotland helping churches to welcome people with learning disabilities and tell them about Jesus in a way they can understand.

Assistant Mission Development Coordinator for Scotland

Trish started with Prospects in December 2016 and will be working with churches to help them welcome and include people with learning disabilities in all aspects of church life. Trish works 24 hour per week.
